In 2002, Matis signed a Cooperation Agreement with DiaMed AG Cressier (Switzerland), a Swiss privately-held company, which develops and manufactures test systems for laboratories. Pursuant to the Cooperation Agreement, Matis has granted DiaMed the exclusive rights to produce and sell the Impact™ and Impact-R™ systems worldwide, with the exception of the USA and Japan.

In 2004, DiaMed has received the CE mark approval for Matis' Impact™ and Impact-R™ systems. Product marketing in Europe of the Impact-R™ has commenced in Q1 2006.

In 2007, Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. (Hercules CA) acquired DiaMed including the DiaMed partnership with Matis. Bio-Rad recently decided that it will be focusing on its core immunohematology business. Matis is currently looking for a global partner for Impact™.
